01 / Start with the right guide

Match your equipment

Clyr Touch can operate as a controller or as a screen for an existing controller. Start with the role specified for your installation; the registration steps are different.

  1. 1Installed operating mode
  2. 2Correct controller or registration
  3. 3Equipment and pool data

How the parts work together. This is a system overview, not a terminal wiring diagram.

02 / Get ready

Before you start

  • Record the device model, firmware, installed role and controller identity.
  • Have the installer complete power and any communication wiring before app setup.
  • Identify the correct pool and controller in the mobile app, especially if you manage more than one site.

03 / One step at a time

Set it up

  1. Confirm the installed role

On Clyr Touch, open the gear icon β†’ Operating Mode. Controller Mode manages equipment as the controller. Screen Mode displays equipment belonging to an existing controller. Keep the mode specified by the installation.

  2. Register or pair using the correct route

Controller Mode: complete Wi-Fi setup, then use Settings β†’ Devices β†’ Add β†’ Clyr Touch in the mobile app and follow registration. Device Information provides the MAC identity when needed.

Screen Mode: first finish setup of the main controller. In the mobile app, open Settings β†’ Devices β†’ Add β†’ Equipment, select that controller, choose Clyr Touch, and set the address supplied for the installation. Save, then confirm the screen shows that controller’s equipment.

  3. Read the equipment card before controlling it

Check the device name, live reading and current mode. Open its card to see the available controls. Where a SET button is shown, changing the displayed number alone does not apply it; review the value and then tap SET.

Test only equipment that is already commissioned and ready to operate. Follow its flow, temperature and other operating requirements. A screen indication is not a substitute for observing the physical result.

  4. Understand Manual and Schedule

Manual control lets you request equipment changes directly. Schedule returns the equipment to its configured schedule behavior. Create or edit schedules in the mobile app; the touchscreen is not the schedule editor.

The clip shows the mobile scheduling workflow, not the Clyr Touch screen.

Shared app skill Β· not equipment wiring

Follow the Clyr scheduling workflow. Select the equipment in this guide and use the times and settings commissioned for your pool.

  5. Return to the intended operating state

After testing, restore the intended equipment modes. Check the main controller and touchscreen agree on the relevant equipment and readings.

04 / Prove the result

Check it works

A saved setting tells you what you requested. These checks tell you what the equipment actually did.

  • The correct controller and pool equipment appear.
  • Displayed readings are current and plausible.
  • A supervised command reaches the intended equipment.
  • Equipment is left in the intended Manual or Schedule state.

05 / Find the next useful check

If something is wrong

Equipment is missing or belongs to another controller

Check the selected operating role and paired controller identity. In Screen Mode, manage equipment on the main controller; do not duplicate equipment to hide a pairing problem.

A schedule cannot be edited on the screen

Use the mobile app to edit schedules, then verify the change on the correct controller.

06 / Save for later
