# 4. Connecting your controller

## 4.1 Adding a controller or smart skimmer

If you're adding a controller, please proceed here:

If you're setting up a smart skimmer, please proceed to "Settings->Devices->Add->Keto Devices" and follow the prompts for adding a smart skimmer.
